Delivery Details

Delivery Information

We aim to deliver all orders as quickly as possible. The expected availability of individual items is shown on the product page. If there are any changes to the availability we will advise you promptly. We try to keep lead times to a minimum, by holding as much stock as possible, but on occasions, depending upon demand, some items may temporarily be out of stock.

All orders are acknowledged by email and we will advise you of items that have unexpectedly longer lead times with anticipated availability dates. We will be keep you informed of any changes affecting delivery including early availability. If you do not wish to receive your order before a certain date please advise us at the time of placing the order.

If your house is difficult to find or there are access restrictions please advise us when placing your order.

We deliver free to many UK addresses on orders of £395 or over. Orders below this amount are charged £35 for delivery. For deliveries to some areas we have to charge an additional amount because of the distance and time involved. These areas are the north of England and Scotland some parts of Wales and the West Country. Any additional charge will be shown in the checkout section before confirmation of the order.

When your order is ready we will contact you to arrange delivery. Please ensure that we have your email and both land line and mobile phone numbers for you, as this helps us to arrange deliveries and for our drivers to stay in touch whilst they are delivering.

Deliveries are made between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. We understand how frustrating it is to wait for deliveries that do not arrive and to prevent failed deliveries we take trouble to ensure that we keep customers informed about the progress of their delivery. If you contact us on 01603 623823 the day before your delivery we will be able to advise approximately what time of day it will be. We are not able to guarantee exact delivery times.

In order to keep costs to a minimum, deliveries are made by an unaccompanied driver who can only make a ground-floor delivery and will require assistance unloading and carrying larger items of furniture. The delivery driver is unable to carry furniture upstairs or unpack the furniture and remove the packaging. If you are unable to assist the driver please try to make arrangements for someone else to help. If no one is available please let us know as soon as possible and we will try to provide an assistant, for which there is a charge.


Failed Deliveries

We sell our furniture at very competitive prices and strive to keep costs down. We simply cannot afford to deliver an order more than once. Unfortunately, this means that if we are unable to make a delivery for any of the following reasons: access problems, the furniture would not fit into the house, we could not find your house and didn’t have any directions or could not contact you, or because there was no one at home, we have to charge for a failed delivery. This charge is usually a minimum of £50 and depending upon the area may be significantly higher. In charging for failed deliveries we only try to cover our costs.


Difficulty Accepting Deliveries

Sometimes it can be difficult for customers to be at home all day to accept a delivery. We try to help as much as possible by advising approximately what time of day the delivery will be. We can also give you an advance phone call so that you can be at home to receive the delivery. If you have difficulty accepting deliveries consider asking a neighbour to accept the delivery for you or on your instructions we may be able to leave the furniture in another secure area, eg. a garage.


Checking Your Furniture

After delivery please unpack your furniture and check it carefully. Keep the packaging until you are satisfied that the furniture is in good condition. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with an item please contact us immediately by email or telephone on 01603 623823. Any piece of furniture that you wish to return must be securely packed in its original packaging. We cannot under any circumstances accept the return of any items that are not securely packed.
