Terms and Conditions

The Abodedirect.co.uk website is operated by B. Cooper Services. By using and /or ordering products from this website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions as described here. The terms “we”, “us” or “ourselves” refer to B. Cooper Services .

Ordering

Your order with us is an offer to buy goods. We will send an email confirming that we have received your order. After we have checked availability and pricing we will contact you to confirm acceptance of the order and that a contract has been made between us.

If items you have ordered are no longer available or there is a pricing mistake on our website we will contact you by email and ask if you still wish to proceed with the order at the correct price and/or with out any unavailable items. if you do not wish to proceed, or we cannot contact you we, will cancel the order.

Placing an order is legally binding. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please also read our Cancellations and Returns below.

Guarantee

Our furniture comes with a 1-year construction guarantee. This excludes normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect or misuse.

Our guarantees do not apply to sales outside mainland UK.

Payment

Orders placed via our website are charged in full at the time the order is placed. For orders placed over the telephone, that will be delivered within 4 weeks, we request full payment at the time the order is placed. For orders that will be delivered after 4 weeks we request a 33.3% deposit at the time the order is placed. The balance is payable 7 days before delivery. We cannot deliver your furniture until the balance has been paid.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Electron cards. Online payments are handled by Stripe, who provide a secure server for processing credit card transactions. If you would prefer to telephone us with your order, please call us on 01362 687897.

Delivery

We aim to deliver orders within 6-8 weeks from the date of order. In parts of Scotland, Wales and the North of England and the West Country delivery may take longer. We will advise you if this is likely to be the case after we have received your order.

Storage

All furniture must be delivered within 28 days of us contacting you to arrange delivery. We reserve the right to charge 2.5% of the order value, per week, for storage if you cannot accept delivery within 28 days of being notified that your furniture is ready.

Cancellations and Amendments

We accept cancellation of an order at any time up to 7 days after delivery of your furniture for any reason. If you are cancelling your order because you have changed your mind then please note that the cost of returning the goods will be chargeable and deducted from a refund.

Regrettably self-assembly items cannot be returned once assembly is part of fully completed unless the item is found to be faulty

If an item you receive is damaged or faulty you must notify us immediately upon delivery and mark the delivery receipt accordingly. In this case, we will arrange for the item to be returned or replaced.

Any items that are returned must be unused and in their original packaging. We cannot under any circumstances accept the return of items that are not in their original undamaged packaging.

We take care and attention over the contents of this website. Unfortunately we do occasionally make mistakes and omissions. We therefore cannot guarantee that the information on our website is completely free of errors. If you spot one please let us know by email to brian@abodedirect.co.uk
We try our best to replicate the colours of the products we offer on this website. However, because different computers can display colours differently, the colours you see on screen may differ from the actual colours of the products.

Disclaimer and Liability

B. Cooper Services, will not be liable to anyone for any loss or damage, that may arise from the use of any information displayed on this website or from the impossibility of access to this website.

We will not be responsible for any delay or failure in the delivery of the products ordered by you or damage to the products when this is caused by an event beyond our control.

Law and Language

These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between you and us.

Any agreement between you and us will be governed by and construed according to English law. Both you and we commit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions or part thereof is declared or becomes unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason whatsoever, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been executed without the offending provision.

Any agreement will be communicated in English.
